This afternoon they officially begin 'round these parts, and I couldn't be happier. An evening with m's family, then a loooooooooooong drive tomorrow to get to my family, then it's all eating and sleeping and being merry until just after my bday. I love this time of the year - not for the cold and the traveling and the stress and the hustle and the end-of-term scrambling, but for when that's all over and loved ones are around and there are no real deadlines and everything outside of what's important can wait. Wishing you all the rest and relaxation and happiness for the holidays...
