Because I can sleep till 9 and not have to rush like a madwoman to get all my stuff (and me) together to get to class on time.
Because I can catch up on the overflowing email inbox, clean house, organize the perpetual disaster of a desk, and even meet friends for coffee.
Because I can work on my own work uninterrupted - read, write, ruminate - for hours on end.
Because I can stop and take a breath.
Because it's the weekend.

I like Friday's cuz it's nice to call home from the office and hear your relaxed, happy voice on the other end...
