Today I read the editorial for the article in question yesterday. Seems that the women on the editorial board had some issues with it as well, and the intro blurb harkens back to when Susan Crean was a regular contributor and when a regular column called Female Complaints (with multiple authors) ran from 1986-1991. They recall the complaints that Female Complaints received, and use it as a disclaimer for the complaints they are undoubtedly going to receive with this one. They also mention that "Feminism for Sale" is the "lost chapter" of Heath & Potter's new book - it just didn't make the cut. That said, I think I'll pass on the whole thing.
