Oh my.
I leave for Dublin in six days. Conference paper in note form (but oh, the ideas!); much manuscript work to be done (including my own contribution); can't conceive of packing.
Oh, and don't know if anyone but me truly cares, but I turned in my tiny weather pixie for a '20s flapper. It rained, and the tiny one's dress remained short and although she changed into knee-high boots, she didn't come equipped with an umbrella. Terribly disappointing. The flapper is a much smarter pixie - not only for her practical accessorizing, fabulous clothes and chic pose: she shares her rain cover with her poodle. Now that's more like it!

Don't forget the infinitely more stylish 'do and the nonchalant Left Bank insouciance that radiates from her beestung smirk.
