I thought about how good it felt to be home.
I was happy my sister used her new phone plan to decadently call me during the day.
I made a Scandinavian dinner for two that tasted almost as good as it did there.
I cheered my girlfriend's upcoming date with a new boy.
I marveled at another girlfriend's ability to juggle friends, kids, moving, graduate studies & jetlag all at the same time.
My lost luggage arrived from Paris.
I pondered how easy it is to forget what's
going on in the rest of the world.
I felt safe, warm, full, loved and
lucky.
