Yes, this class is turning out to be something quite amazing. Got 'em all riled up - chatty, disagreeing, debating (heated, but still nice), and conversations inside the classroom spilled into the outdoor break and after class as well. Funny how talking about "masculinity" lends itself to talking about gender in its multiple forms and questioning the assumptions that we all carry - yes, theorists too; how one topic leads to so many others, and then others, and then others...They read Wilchins and Halberstam and Lucal today...hot stuff.
