giving thanks

...for a long weekend with mum and sis;
...for not having to drive for hours and hours to spend time with family;
...for sharing our space with them over a holiday;
...for cats that behaved the entire time;
...for neighbours who shared their bedding;
...for big bacon-and-egg breakfast;
...for my sista's stuffing;
...for Kilkenny-basted turkey (that made the absolute best gravy ever);

...and for being able to take a breather between work and reminded that there are more important things in life than the ins and outs of most of my everydays.
