I get an awful lot of email on a daily basis, and I don't have a heck of a lot of time these days. While I hate spam, I have come to live with it, manage it, and even learn a little something something from it every so often. But I really hate virus hoaxes. They kind of come in waves, it seems, and people who forward them tend to do to their whole list so without any research whatsoever. Here's a list of virus fact-checkers (most are pretty up-to-date and reliable) to click prior to hitting "forward" on your email:
F-Secure Hoax Warnings
Symantec Anti-Virus Research Center
McAfee Virus Hoax Listings
HoaxBusters/CIAC (US govt. agency)
